Got and installed my flip up license plate bracket so I dont have to remove the plate to tow a trailer. Weirdest part was the thing showed up in a Pepperidge Farm Pretzel box that could have held thirty of the brackets. And I ordered it from stylintrucks.com or something like that. A business, not an individual person is the point I'm trying to make. But hey, it got here just the same.:notsure:

What am I missing here because I tow a trailer almost daily and I don't have to remove my plate. Did you relocate your harness plug there or something?

ABS module. I was going to make some sarcastic snarky remark like 'hydraulic pump' but I lost the energy so you sir, get a proper answer to a reasonable question. Congratulations.

Really. Hmm... Is that where it is on all Taco's? cuz my '05 sure doesn't have anything there. The 3 bolts are there, but there is nothing on them.

Hmm... I bought my Taco used 6 months ago and lots of mods have been done already but I can't imagine that is something you can just remove, at least not without more hassle that it is probably worth.

I have a light for it and I thought I did. I'll have to go find a gravel road and see if I can make it trip. I didn't trip it in Moab, but I had it in 4 low pretty much the entire time so it was disabled.

IF it was an option not to have it, I would. I wish I could get rid of mine bad. I'm still waiting on a better mod to disable it.

    You learn something every day.

I honestly didn't know and thought mine didn't have ABS whenever I test drove it and popped the hood to find this empty location. Looked like a prime spot for an ABS control module and since this location was empty on my truck... no ABS. Hazaa! Alas, not I'm disappointed to hear that my truck does indeed have it and it's been stashed under my master brake cylinder. Lame.

3" lift, Xd Spy wheels, 265/70/17 Michelins, skid pan, fog lights tint, Flyzeye LED lights, ADVMonster LED lights, tri-fold tonneau, box divider........will it ever end? LOL
It was bound to happen sooner or later, I finally got my 3" levelling kit, 17" XD Spy wheels and my favourite all around tire, the Michelin M/S 2 - 265 / 70 / 17. For all the off roading I'll be doing this setup will work great for me. I've had HUGE success with this tire before, the ride and handling are exceptional and they never seem to wear out. Anyway, I love the look, very happy, thought I'd share.
