Dual Halo Projector Headlights/Bulbs

I just ordered these headlights for my 2007 Tacoma off of ebay..
I paid $160 for them and I'm wonderding if I have to also purchase HID blulbs and if I do what would be the best looking ones. If I have to order the bulbs I'd be looking for the ones with the blue-ish tint. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

 

i dont know however i would use my stock halogen lights over those.... the output is poor on that ... save your money for a real retrofit (see my sig)

 

Thanks I appreciate that. I have Silverstars in my headlights as of now. Do you think I would be able to run those in the new Headlights I ordered?

I have comparison pictures of stock, pre-retrofit and post retrofit in that post

 

I believe that the ebay ones take H1 bulbs...at least that's what mine are, and the stock bulbs are H4

 

ebay ones are different bulbs i have the ones you bought, and to be honest the output is good to me, not saying there as good as a retro fit but they are equal to stock in my eyes, im running 6000k hid, stay away from 8000k way to blue and visibility is worse

Hahaha I know what you mean! I was looking that these exact one's until the guys at TW here told me to go to the TRS. The Retrofit Source is where its at! I just got mine in the mail and im putting them on as we speak! Haha but to answer your question it is an H1 bulb, and blueish tint is 6k for the HID

 

Probably should have done my research first, oh well. This should turn into a fun project haha.

 

Kevin, I put 5K's in my ebay lights...if you can wait, i'd see if there is a round 10 group buy for the retrofitsource (TRS)...you can save a bunch (25%) it would bring the projector kit to about $250

My headlights will be here tomorrow, I have all the wiring preped for the l.e.d parts of the headlights. Will I be able to put my silverstar bulbs that were in my old headlights in the new set?

 

No op you need h1 bulbs.
Btw my ex had ebay projectors on her charger and they had great cut offs and light distribution.
