Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.

Where can I get these Hi-Lift mounts?
These are exactly what I'm looking for, for the very same Taco-version of this bumper.

Also, why does my bumper not have shackle mounts?? Really bugging me.

Im planning a trip through New Mexico and Colorado this spring, Mid April. We will be taking the H3 since its 4x4 and my taco isnt :( but Ill be upgrading a few things between now and then.

Does anyone know if the snow is still pretty thick on the ground in april? I want to check out some of the old mines, fire roads, ghost towns up in the mountains but I dont want to get in over our heads.

See my reply in my build, the high trails will still have lots of snow in April, but lower elevation stuff will likely be clear, unless there is recent snow, but then you can get a snow run in! Again, check out Trail Damage, it lists the start and end elevations for most trails, you probably want to stay below 7000 or so in April.

Wow, there are some great trucks in this thread! I will be building my truck to have these capabilities as soon as money permits; really looking forward to getting back into hunting and fishing.

I'm really glad I came across this site: tacodoc.com. So much useful information! Thanks for taking the time to share your trucks and ideas with everyone.

What are your thoughts about fender protection? If/when I get a new bumper I was considering something like this. You see it a lot on cruisers and hilux's, but not too many tacomas. I think its cool (especially for tight trails like we have here in the NE).
