I have recently bought a 2013 tacoma prerunner doublecab and I was looking for some help with what I should get to lift it. I'm looking for around a 3 in lift the doesn't involve spacers and levels it.

And to everyone who has good experience with the tacoma, is there anything important I should also get?

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
If i had a prerunner i would probably do a spindle lift, around 4 inches of lift and no need for aftermarket upper control arms, which you should get if you do a 3" lift with coilovers. Then get a 2" add a leaf and you will be close to level. Good luck.

Do you think that 4 in of lift would be to much on 4cyl?

Didnt realize it was a 4 cyl. The lift wouldnt matter but the size of the tires would. And in my opinion you wouldnt want anything smaller than 33s with that much lift.

Yeah the bigger tires was my concern with that much lift. That's why I was looking for a 3 in lift and I would put some 32s on it

You shouldnt need a full 3 inches to fit 32s. I am not very familar with the 5 lugs tho. Check out the toytec ultimate lift kit and old man emu lifts. If you want 3 inches you should look into aftermarket UCAs, if you want to be level do a 1.5 or 2 inch add a leaf in the rear

Yeah I was looking into the toytec lifts but I just didn't know which one would be the best and everyone liked on here. But I haven't really looked but I'm pretty sure mine is 6 lug

My bad, i heard 4 cyl and automaticly thought 5 lug. I think all pre runners have 6 lug. Thats good for you there are more options. The old man emu setups are very popular here as well as the toytec ultimate lift kits with eibach coils. The toytec ULK is adjustable so you can raise or lower the front, it is a little more expensive compared to old man emu. If you go with old man emu you have to pick which coils you want (different lengths) to get the amount of lift you want.

Define better...lol. The OME might be a little stiffer,
not sure. What are you going to use it for? Do you intend to bring the truck offroad? Im guessing since it is a prerunner your not doing any hardcore wheeling, so you hafta think how much do i wanna spend for what i am going to use it for. What is your budget and what kind of ride are you looking for? I think most options your ride will be stiffer than stock, most people like that, you might feel the bumps a little more but you might like how the truck corners when you eliminate some body roll with a stiffer suspension.
Do your research and find out what is best for you, use the search bar there is literally hundreds of threads asking the same question you are. If you want more opinions heres a few tips. Put in a few hours reading up on the suspension section and build threads to get a better idea of what you want, get a rough idea of how much it is going to cost so you can set a budget, think about how you intend to use the truck after the lift. If you included all those things in your original post and asked a more specific question you would have gotten alot more responses, probably from more knowledgable members than myself. Im not trying to be a dick, just letting you know why i am the only one that responded to you.
