    HELP!!!

So I still haven't found a viable sleeping solution for when I go camping. Cots are so small and uncomfortable, air beds have never worked, sleeping on the ground sucks, I was looking at truckairbedz.com but those are way to expensive and have the same problems as normal air beds, they all leak!! Anybody frigured out a great tried and test solution that works well??

I second the hammock idea. Extremely comfy and easy as hell to set up. Oh and cheap

Bring a foam mat to lay your sleeping bag on.

Or just redeem your man card and sleep on the ground.

Never had an issue with air mattresses :notsure:

I second the foam mat idea also. They work, don't take up much room and can't deflate.

X2 foam mat, they're selling them here for like 15-20 bucks, double em up, I have an old tempurpedic mattress topper foam pad that that I use I just double it up and roll out my bag on top, just like the real thing, but takes up a bit of space and gets dirty easily if its not in plastic

throw a foam mat down. or custom cut a mattress to fit the bed. I was kinda thinking if doing that somehow but I know it's probably impractical and would look ridiculous

Not sure what else you can do besides bring your bed man! Seems like you've tried everything. Being uncomfortable is just part of camping.

henessy hammock, most comfortable thing i've ever spent a night away from my $2500 mattress in/on. never gotten wet inside in shat windy rainy conditions, thing is just great. have no less than 75 nights in this thing and love it. use a jacks r better underquilt and just a down sleeping bag that is always wide open other then the bottom keeping my feet in.

Probably the most comfortable camping pad I have ever slept on...I had to purchase these to get the wife to camp. We hook two together and then put our down topper on that and then a double down sleeping bag...that's about as good as you can get.

I just use a truck tent and the tacoma bed mat with an extra sleeping bag laid down on top of it. I can sleep pretty much anywhere though....
