    The tires were fat!

    but yes..poor old truck..

also Jace, remember mine are 12.5s, yours are only like 11.5 wide..so won't stick out as far..and i have 1.5'' spacers..if you ran 1.25 would also be less.

first gens don't have a huge problem with bearing going bad, sure they might put a little more stress but its not a big deal, i haven't had a problem with mine, and i got my truck with the spacers on it already, who knows how long they have been on there but I've had my truck for 3 yrs now and haven't had a problem with bearings. 2nd gens are the ones ive heard they been having alot of problems with bearings. BTW nice truck ;)

see the thing is i dont want my tires another 1.25" out the fender flares... ill have to cut and beat the firewall even further.... im almost leaning towards the steering stop mod, it wont sacrifice much steering angle.... and itll solve all,my other problems. Saturday i will be doing all my trimming... I am interested in those axle relocation plates..... may move it back an inch. i think Adam was talking about using one. I wonder though are they as strong as the centering in normally?

:woot: Sweet, man. I think I've asked you before, but what kind of tires? Duratracs again? half inch is plenty of room...

Do it, man. You probably won't need more than a little piece of 1/8th plate on each side. I also like extended steering stops because it helps prevent the CVs binding and putting them in a weaker position off-road. U-turns are pretty interesting though... haha :D (thankfully, 37s are good for driving over curbs too.....) Of course you'll still have a lot better turning radius then mine since I had to extend by half an inch. Won't be bad at all, dude... And since you like your pretty fenderwells, lol it sounds like a perfect solution for you.

EDIT: Nvm, I peaked in your build and saw you went with the Duratracs again. kewl. :D
    Nice!!! Crossing my fingers!!!!!

    lol

In order to upgrade to some manly 35s, I was going to suggest a few burnouts and doughnuts with the locker engaged to wear your new tires out faster......

but then I remembered you still have to re-gear. :D jk, bro! haha

What's everyone doing for water while we're out there? I imagine we'll need a lot for cooking, cleaning, drinking. Just trying to decide if I need to buy a 5 gallon water jug or something..
