Bought a used high lift off a fellow TW member. Cut up one of my wifes bed frames that she has stored in the garage for too long and fabbed up a mount. Used some bolts and stuff I had laying around to finish it off. I need to get some wing nuts for it.

Put in some Weather Tech Mats I got from another member. They really fit good. Now I see what all the hype about these things is all about.

I also put on my 3rd brake light cover from Sockmonkey. Thanks Greg!

    Bought an Ultra Gauge.

Clay nice truck. When you installed you Backflip G2 bed cover did you have to remove your original bed rail system?

    Thanks for flipping that over.
It's a Snugtop Rebel, $1500 with fold down interior window and carpeted inside.
Picture taken at the place I bought it.
I showed my wife the pictures of your truck and told her that's more or less the look I'd like to achieve, and she says "I thought you weren't going to lift this truck?"
And I said "but look how good it looks, I'll give up a mile or two per gallon."
BTW what is your mileage like?

No, did not remove the bed rail.
MPG right now with our crappy, enviromentally friendly, winter fuel, is around 16 MPG (average), if I keep my foot out of it.

I'm getting between 17 and 18.5 depending how many highway miles, so 1-2 mpg loss won't kill me too bad.
Hopefully in the next couple weeks ill be getting my bumper and chrome grill painted body color, I really like the sport look over the chrome.
I keep telling the wife I'm going to sell my 97 powerstroke and just dump all the money into the taco, I'm just kidding around, but i sure wish I had $15k to spend on the taco! Oh well a little at a time.
I'll just keep looking at the pictures of yours to keep me motivated!
