So I have an alarm installed and I hear the crisp beep and double beep of the alarm system for arm and disarm. It's fine

But along with that I hear the stupid horn sounding once and twice for arm and disarm.

Can anyone help me rid the horn sound and keep the alarm sound?

Are you sure it's not the other way around ?

My horn doesn't go off with the keyless entry , it's a beep

no it's the dealer security sys alarm.

but yeah i hear the beeps and the horn. I don't know if it's the other way around either...i just want to get rid of the horn hmm...

im thinking now it's the alarm that's making the horn sound, which is dumb.

you're right the keyless entry has a little blue led below the steering wheel with a button on it. I just turn the ignition on then off and pressed that button three times and there was two chirps turning off the horn sound.

When the alarm is tripped it makes a honking sound. I'm guessing that's not the alarm but the keyless entry doing that. So I guess i don't have an alarm installed after all.

You can always set off your alarm to see if you have one :notsure:

Arn't all alarms just horns? unless you're wanting one of those hi-pitched ones.
