Hello, I just purchased a 2013 Tacoma double cab sport. I'm glad to be a part of the forum, and any help would be highly appreciated.

What would you guys recommend for a complete suspension 3" lift that is NOT going to be used for off road use? I live in Orlando, FL and the truck is always driven on roads. I'm mainly looking to lift it for looks. I'm planning on putting bigger tires and different rims.

Budget is no more than $1500 for suspension kit. I was reading alot on the ICON systems, but for what I need, I think that's too much of a system. I was leaning towards the ultimate kit from Toy Tec or the OME? what do you guys recommend?

Ride quality is important, so If I have to spend more I will.

Any inputs would be highly appreciated... thank you guys

Well do you want to spend 1500 or more?

IMO (ive been researching for over a month now) OME for under 1500.

I heard the OME is stiffer than Bilsteins? Is the Ultimate kit better than the OME?

Couldn't say anything about the stiffness or ride quality. Just know most people on here choose OME/5100/toytec lifts. Very popular.

    Is their a better option?

It depends on the person you talk to. You can talk to 100 people and will hear what they have is the best and everything else rides like crap. Do ur own research and watch videos. Don't watch the same person, watch different people. But in the end, opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one.

Yep that's the one, except I would get 885 coils, 886 if you are getting a aftermarket bumper.

Also for the rear lift option, Dakars.

Check out Headstrong Offroad. Very nice and will answer any questions you throw at them. And they usually will compete with prices.

Limo tint, black low profile tool box, blacked out emblems, tailgate mod, black XD Addict rims with terra Grapplers, ionic 5" black railway step sides, weather tech mats and deflectors. OME 3" lift with 885s and dakars leaf packs, LED hood and bed lights from Mattgecko, back window bar from mattgecko, black headlight mod, LEDs kit for maps, dome and reverse lights, MrImYo Rear-View Mirror Lift, Red line hood struts, Grillcraft MX black mesh grill.
Just got My OME 3'' lift with Dakar leafs and I think my truck rides smoother now then it did stock. I read a lot of reviews and its a good suspension lift for a good price. Pics of my OME 885 with .5 spacer added and new leafs.

so based on regular road conditions, not OFF roading... the best bet would be to go with the OME kit? Sorry, I just want to confirm before making the purchase.

Also, they have a choice of original nitrocharger shocks and sport nitrocharger?? what is the difference

    Thanks

Not really sure of the difference besides the sport may be softer for road conditions while the nitrocharger may be a little stiffer?

another happy customer of Headstrong. I was introduced to them thru a member on here and have been recommending them ever since.

Colt, so you would do the OME kit over the ultimate package from toytec

I would just over the amount of positive reviews.

Disclaimer: I don't have either kit.
