    So I always get pulled over for having too wide of tires...only running 12.50's. Came up 95 right before kennebunk last night and got pulled over again for it. Do maine troopers really have nothing better to do. But someone honked heading south, made me chuckle.

    Do they protrude past your fender flares? Because in Maine that's illegal.
    Since you're breaking the law, they have nothing better to do :D

    Personally, I'm happy to live in a state where the troopers have nothing better to do.

    They stick out maybe a 1/4 inch, if you look straight down they don't but since the fenders curve in that slight bit if you look along the vehicle they do. They're always nice and I have nothing bad to say about troopers, but it's annoying. Especially since I'm not registered in this state and you see people with tires that stick out stupid far. But hey I love it up here.

    It really depends on the cop, honestly. Some of them care, some of them don't. Usually the ones in S. Maine care more than the ones further North, though.

    But, everybody knows that Maine State Troopers are the politest around!

    I get a kick out of all the 5.0 coyote mustang gt undercovers running radar on 95. Maybe they moved north a little, but i always used to see 2-3 people pulled over every morning between Wells and freeport (i work I'm Maine 3 days a week)
