THE REAL QUESTION!!

So the real question for all of us 12's+ owners who are bored with our BHLM and retrofits…. is any news on a set of headlights for the 12+?? does anyone have news of one being designed or is it just not gonna happen for a couple more years?

If you give us a picture of what you are trying to talk about it would help, but I don't think you can go wrong with retrofitted OEMs

Pretty much any Aftermarket Tacoma headlight is projector.

 

He is talking about those poo poo ebay lights posted in the link above.

Those look like crap and the light output is also crap.

only thing i see are custom made retrofits with LEDS inside

 

Since there are now 3 years of Tacomas with our headlight type I'd imagine something might be in the works now. Like i posted before, light output on them isn't that fantastic. Someone on here retrofitted HIDs into his which was cool, but I think he mentioned it being a huge PIA.

Don't get me wrong, I think there are some nice combinations of LED's, retrofits, and HID's that people have put into the new Taco's… but they're way past my time/budget. I know most aftermarket headlights go fro $200 - $400… I'm fine with paying for that because they're weather sealed and are warrantied.
The custom ones, are just that, custom. Theres no guarantee with them, especially if I have to finish something in a weekend instead of spending the time needed. Also theres no consistency in the custom lights either
