The raido and sunglasses suck but glad you did not leave the new 45 in there..Sounds like they were after the radio with a busted a/c face plate

 

Need an answer ASAP:

From a 2WD aspect, knowing what I like to do or at least try to do with my truck.

Is there any benefit to ME removing my sway bar??? I ask cause I am working on my truck right now and I am considering taking it off.

 

i would take it off for a while and see for yourself if you think it makes
a positive difference. thats just my 2 cents

 

I took mine off my 2wd and never looked back.

 

I took it off. Figured if need be, it's not hard to put back. But for now she's off.

is that more of a benefit for 2wd than 4wd???

Must be the season. Some jackass tried to steal our 2000 Honda Civic last Saturday. Did $390 in damage and failed to take the car. Idiots. They really picked the wrong car to break into. The car is bone stock with the 13 y/o factory radio and everything so there wasn't much of value outside the car itself for parts. As it was, they screwed up the window seal, destroyed the steering column shroud, and broke the windshield wiper switch lever off.

I only had mine on for a month when I got my truck before it was removed but I did drive a different tacoma before that that had a sway bar and from what I can tell it drives a lot better offroad and you can get the front end to flex completely independently without it of I'm not mistaken.

 

Yeah, I think you can get more flex out of the front without the sway bar, but for me, I'm leaving mine on to keep the front tires from eating the fenders.

 

THIS.. no fast lane changes at 75 mph with the wife & kids it the truck!!!



Sway bars are like condoms... With the sway bar on you feel safer... Without the sway bar the ride feels better.

 

I could certainly tell a difference with cornering on the way home. Felt more sway than before, but I don't foresee any issues down the road. And from what I understand I should get more don't end flex by removing it. We shall see. I'm liking it so far but I only drove maybe 10 miles to get home.

 

Correct my fenders were eaten a long time ago. Haha
