Ah I feel like you were talking about this in another forum, and his sale thread is on another site other than TW, right?

Yup, it's on the IH8MUD forum. He stopped making them for a while, but started back up back in September. He sales them for cheaper than it would cost to buy everything and make it yourself.

So now what would that particular relay block do as opposed to a (Blue Sea or really any brand) fuse block?

It allows you to run a lot smaller wires into the cab to switches. The switch is using very little current to activate the relay. That's what the 2amp fuse is for.

For your light forces, they won't be able to just run with a fuse straight to a switch. You'll need a relay in there as well. That box just cleans it all up I think because it has relays and fuses in one spot.

Ahhhhhh ah ah ah.. makes sense. For things that don't need a relay then you wouldn't need one & would just use a fuse then, yeah?

    Exactly.

It has the 5 relays for anything that needs a relay. And five 30 amp fuses for anything that uses constant power/doesn't need a relay such as a CB radio.

Basically gets rid of all of the wiring harnesses that comes with different lights and puts it into one clean box.

Those five 30 amp fuses can be used for things that don't need a relay such as a cb radio.

Here's a pic of the wiring

Out of my 7 aftermarket lights/CB on my truck, I have a relay on just the D2s. And that's only because it came with the harness. I normally wouldn't do a relay on any LED light or accessory that draws less that 15-20amps. But that's just ME. a lot of people on here seem to think relay or meltdown on everything. But that's just not true if you choose the right gauge wire and fuse.

This is true, but if something were to short out the relay keeps it more contained than just running it straight through a switch
    Agreed

Correct. If there's a short at the battery, the fuse should protect the wiring/switch. If it happens IN the switch, that's a different story. But a relay wouldn't do much there other than reduce the amperage through the switch. But it'd still be shorting.

Gnarly. That should definitely do the trick to clean up the wiring

That't too much concentrated in one area! Haha

That's why I just wan't D2's for fogs, a retrofit for headlights, two HID spots and a 40" light bar for fill between the spots and fogs. Might not even bother with the 40" light bar.

Yeah, I couldn't spend that much on lights. Too much other stuff I want haha

I'm still trying to decide what lights I want for spots. I'm thinking LightForce 170's...

No shit. My list is getting so long for wish list mods since I've looked through a ton of builds and gathered ideas. Not a good idea.

    Can't go wrong with LF.
They had my money as soon as I got their 12v plug in 240 spotlight.
I've shined yotes 300-400 yards away (easy) to where they are clear as day.
    I was impressed.
