Hi everyone i am new to this forum and would like some info.
I just bought a 2010 Toyota Tacoma TRD sport and i am looking for a place online that sells built in gps for my truck that has Bluetooth.you would think for a $30.000 truck this would all be included.Any suggestions and what brand to buy would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

I bet you can find an endless number of $30,000 vehicles that don't come with GPS and bluetooth......especially in 2010.

I would go aftermarket if I were you though, you can get a much better gps/radio for the money.

I got a new 2010 and there was no GPS until I stuck one on the lower left corner of my windshield!

I take it you have a 2014 truck with the entune audio plus? If that is the case I upgraded to a 2014 entune audio premium with nav unit. This was completely plug and play. Did it myself in 20 minutes. I would go this route that way everything is guaranteed to work including steering wheel controls and Bluetooth..

Thanks! Much appreciated. I have not purchased my truck yet but the one I want has a entune plus with no navigation. Is there a gps antenna that I have to install as well?

If you get the unit from FLTrucks, there is nothing else you need. The 2014 plus model actually has the gps antenna already installed for the traffic, just plug it into the new unit. You will keep the xm module that you will find below the plus head unit when you take it out and just connect it to the new unit. Like I said above, completely clean swap. Nothing extra needed. I did this mod to my 2014 sport.

    Tacoma40,

If you decided to go with a factory upgrade, For you to upgrade to the 2014 you would need the following plus the head unit from FLTrucks:

Here is what you would need if you have a Tacoma that is 2011 or older: for basic functionality (radio) you need a metra 40-LX21 antenna adapter. Crutchfield $9.99 or bestbuy delivered to store for $12.99. If you want the Bluetooth connectivity you need Toyota Bluetooth mic kit PT546-74120, $41.40 from midatlantictoyotaparts.com and a 28-pin conversion harness PT546-00120 $29.66 at toyotapartsworld.com. The install is very simple plug and play once you have these parts.

Excellent. Very helpful. I am somewhat electrically challenged but it sounds easy enough. :)

Not my cut of tea either, but if you can plug in a lamp you can do this mod. Even better is everything only fits one spot and are color coded. I can't think of a way to mess this up with a 2014 swap.

Also, I would inquire with FLTrucks sooner than later. Don't know how many more he will be selling.
