    A second gorgeous day here in W/WA and I tried to take advantage of it!! Driving along Tinkham Road is fun - easy to be sure but still a nice time with lots of pullouts for lunch/coffee or just to set up a chair and listen to the stream...or all three!!

    I like this picture - I like the colors and the fact that it is a little more complicated that I normally take....

    Hope all were able to enjoy the weather!!!! Full blown camping season is nearly upon us!!!

    This was from yesterday halfway up to Laurel Lake in mammoth mt california.

    If you are ever in that area... definitely check out that trail, first time up it in the truck, but been up it many times before on the dribikes. Gets up to something like 10,100ft up above sealevel

    The picture of my truck with the big boat is kinda nice and scenic, but the unique thing is we were some of the first responders for the BP oil spill it is parked on the levee right and the boat is "The Whale" that was on tv all the time back then. (almost as much as i was, lol! i was in the 'make it right' ads) kinda neat i think. the other boat is just a normal vessel that was there one day, but still kinda cool. the last one is not very 'scenic' i had to blow the pictures up like 1000 times to see my truck, but again i think kinda cool, i noticed in some of our drone and helo recon photos my truck showed up a few times. hey, how many peeps get to see their tacoma from a drone or a recon helo :)

    What rating would you give that trail? I want to do it this summer. Is it open year round (is there a gate)? Thats a pretty sweet shot you have. I hear in springtime it's tough if there's a lot of snow, I read somewhere that it's a pretty steep drop off and if there's snow blocking the road you can't get around it.
