Just joined the forum and all I have to say is wow! There is so much I have learned already about Tacomas. This is my first Tacoma I have owned. I saved my pennies for years and finally bought a 2014 Tacoma dcsb 4x4 sr5. Any suggestions of what would be a good place to start with upgrades? Im the type of person that cant leave things alone and love to upgrade my things.

    Now it starts.
I had my truck for 3 years before I did a lot but the best upgrade is getting better tires if you going to do any off roading.
OEM lift, or upgraded suspension, the front is too soft, bouncy and the toyota leafs suck.
If you are going to tow or carry a load get new leafs.. The OEM lift is much better than stock...
Best upgrade for looks are wheels.....
    Good luck

I was thinking about trd fj wheels with duratracs to start. Then a good tonno cover and weathertech mats. I want to do better suspension. I heard that billstein 5100s are good shocks but not sure if I can get a lift kit that includes those shocks. Also does anyone know who can do custom graphics. I heard of some guy named sockmonkey but he hasnt replied to me.

Too much.... Im at around 12,000 I think. Maybe more. If I picked the correct suspension and tires the 1st time it would be less.

Thats not bad I expected it to be more than that. Any pointer on what I should go after first to make the truck more enjoyable. I want to ease my way into it I have never wrenched on a vehicle in my life.
