After skimming through the thread, it seems to me the modification requires you to break the green wire connection. We could configure a switch to do that, however, having it light up when you press it is a bit more complicated and would be a custom bodied switch.

You can use one of our regular switches, and I can configure it to have the top LED independently wired - meaning it'll stay illuminated regardless of what position the switch is in - and when you press the top of the actuator, it will turn your ABS off. The bottom LED would not light. This can be done with our stock switches and would not cost any extra. Or you can reverse this orientation.

We would basically flip the orientation of the actuator cover on our standard switch so pushing the top of the switch would deactivate your ABS. If you would rather the bottom of the switch light up with text, you would have to push the bottom of the actuator in to deactivate your ABS.

Here's a quick picture to more easily explain your options. Let us know what you'd like to do and we can send you an invoice.

Somewhat interested in the above as well, as I have the ABS killswitch too.

So what I'm seeing is there is no way to have (this would be what I would personally want)

Have the ABS symbol always lit up, and using option 1, flipping down the switch turns on the "off" LED, indicating it is now off.. and when the ABS is on (switch flipped up) the "off" LED turns off.

    If that makes sense.. lol

I may just stick with my trusty ol' metal toggle switch. The indicator lights on the gauge cluster are enough to let me know when its engaged or not.

What you guys want can be done. I was only offering the above options because there isn't any extra cost to do those options for you guys. If you'd like the switch to behave as you guys described, I'd need to find out what voltage that green wire is putting out.

From there I can make the PCB for the circuit in order for the LEDs to behave in the manner you guys described.

The additional cost for a custom switch like that is about $25. Let me know if that's the route you'd like to take. If so, I can bring a Tacoma in to test to make sure it doesn't interfere with any of the functions of the ABS.

So total for the switch? I think thats the way I would like to go! Can you make a switch turning my 4.0L into a monster V8?

Total would be $25 plus what a regular SC1 switch is going for on the group buy page.

I'd really want a switch to turn a 4.0 into a monster V8 too, lol. Unfortunately those switches are usually attached to an even more monster sized invoice.

    got it.

ya know what would be awesome.. and this is a long shot.. but if you guys offered prewired/set up switch banks.

for instance.. my plan is to use my sunglasses holder for my switches. It can house 5-6 switches and looks very clean. several members here have done this setup with great success. Me on the other hand.. am completely dumbfounded when it comes to wiring switches. My 2 right now dont even light up how they should.

If a premade setup was available.. I, and I'm sure others, would gladly pay the cost.

just have it include the switch bank, the switches that the buyer chooses, and then some basic wiring behind them with short pig tails so maybe we can just crimp the ends together or atleast labeled.

I would love to have it show up, cut the hole in the sunglasses holder, install, and then connect some wires and its good to go.

Can you link me to a thread where this bank is in the sunglass holder?

I can definitely do something like this for you guys. Make the panel and pre-wire all the switches with labeled pigtails.

That looks like the front of an FJ if I'm not mistaken. Are you looking for an FJ silhouette or Tacoma silhouette?

Regardless, yes we can draw something like that for you. :)
