    That should make replacing the nut relatively simple.

    We're not talking about every nut and bolt, but rather a critical component of the suspension system that requires the right force value to operate correctly and safely. :facepalm:

    I don't think it matters. Is it tight, is the ball joint seated, is the cotter pin in place? Yeah? Then BIG FUCKING DEAL if its not torqued to spec. Im sure 90% of the lifted trucks on here didnt torque them to spec.

    I dont mean that rudely btw.

    Jack it up, remove tire, replace nut and cotter pin. You have to give the steering knuckle a good smack with a hammer to free the bj from the knuckle so no worries about it coming loose.
