What auto locker would fit best for my 08 prerunner 4X2. Ive noticed that a lot of people talk about the 4.0L 6cyl but i only have the 2.7L 4cyl. will a locker work? cant seem to find any threads on it. Any help would be much appreciated.

I dunno, have you checked with all the usual lunchbox makers? lockright, aussie locker, Spartan locker, etc, etc

not from personal experience, but from what I've heard, agreed. does eaton make that one, or is theirs called something else? eaton has a good rep. famous for the Detroit, but that may be above your budget. I believe they have an autolocker now that does not replace the carrier

No, lockrights are made by richmond gear.
I've ran them for 4 years and haven't had any issues. I have one both front and rear.
I push my truck pretty hard, too.

Ok so I've looked into Easton and Detroit. Both look like great lockers but they say for the v6. I guess I will have to call and ask. Probably should have done that first.

ARB Locker is the way to go, especially if your using the truck as a DD. Plus is you can set up on board air with the ARB locker install as well. :D

I don't reeally care to go with an air lock such as an ARB what about the stock E locker. Is my prerunner already equipped for it or what mods would have to be done?
