tacoma 2015 5 lug...ordered a 2.5 top coil spacer....question will a 2.5 inch spacer give me 2.5 inch lift in front? or because of engine weight give me 2 inches or less.....have read on different internet posts....different specs.... from center of tire from ground up....my front fender is 34 inches from ground and my rear fender is 36 inches from ground...trying to level out! i look around but didnt find what i was seeking!

Actually it is almost a 2:1 ration with top plate spacers so a 2 1/2" spacer will give you wayyyy more lift than you need. Did you buy a spacer that is 2 1/2" tall or a 1 1/4" tall spacer that will net you 2.5" of lift ?

that's the problem when I bought it on the internet it's a 2.5 inch lift spacers, but it doesn't say the measurements of the actual spacers....

    picture doesn't look like it's a 2.5 inches tall

Cool, you should be good then. Just one more heads up for you - the fenders are not level with each other even if the frame is sitting on the ground, the rear wheel wells are higher than the front when the frame of the truck is level. So, that being said level your truck by measuring from the frame to the ground. If you end up needing to raise the rear a bit too use an add a leaf instead of a block.

so from your experience is 2.5 inch lift going to level the truck or make it front end higher?

I have never done a 5 lug myself but the 6 Lugers definitely have over 2" of rake from the factory so that spacer should level you out perfectly.

read more post yesterday! and most seem to agree that a 2.25 lift would level a tacoma.....so a 2.50 lift! 1/4 inch more is not that off, if anything ill add a leaf in rear!

ill keep you guys posted and pics soon!

1.75" is about 1/4 too high on a 5 lug. Did you read the thread I posted!
