I took the time to search for alternatives to Toyota's WS ATF fluid.

And according to my research here are some other options and alternatives to Toyota WS
    1. Valvoline Maxx Life ATF
    2. Kendall VersaTrans LV ATF (Made by Phillips 66 Lubricants) (This is what my local Firestone buys buy the 55-gallon drum to service automatic trasmissions)
    3. AMSOIL -AMSOIL Signature Series Fuel-Efficient Synthetic ATF
    4. Redline Synthetic Oil - D6 ATF
    5. Schaeffer Oil - 205A Dexron® VI/Mercon® Automatic Transmission Fluid (Suitable for Aisin Warner JWS 3309, JWS 3324)
    6. Pronto Full Synthetic Multi-Vehicle ATF Fluid (Distributed by National Pronto Association | Grapevine, TX 76051 | MADE IN THE USA)
    7. Amalie Universal Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid (Amalie Oil Co. Tampa, Fl.)
    8. Martin Lubricants - SynGard™ Multi-Vehicle Dexron® VI and Mercon® LV Automatic Transmission Fluid
    9. SC Fuels - Multi Performance 500 MVP Universal ATF
    10. Super Tech DEXRON VI Automatic Transmission Fluid
    11. Chevron Havoline Synthetic ATF Multi-Vehicle Dexron-VI
    12. And if your in Australia, Nulon - Full Synthetic Multi Vehicle Automatic Transmission Fluid.
    13. Aisin ATF0WS - ATF, Automatic Transmission Fluid; WS-World Standard
MORE PRODUCTS (Thx to Jetty Rat)
Anything that lists itself as a suitable replacement for Toyota JWS 3324 or Toyota WS, would be good.

I checked with Mobile 1 (Exxon) and they don't have anything on the U.S. market yet.

    I hope this helps someone.

I thought that I'd also read that Redline recommends D4 now, not D6 for WS.

In my opinion, Gear Cruncher was wrong. Not only that, but his post was somewhat unoriginal. It's a repost from another forum (BITOG) dating back to 2008.

For what it's worth, when it comes to fluids, Toyota does not approve or endorse any other brands.

All the fluids in the OP meet or exceed the standard, for Toyota WS JWS 3324.

This thread is for folks who want a simple place to find alternatives to Toyota WS.

    What about Schaeffer's #204SAT All-Trans Supreme®?
In its TD sheet it says its compatible with these types of fluid:
    GM Dexron II, II-D, IIE, III, III-E, III-G, III-H
    Toyota Type-II, Type III
    Toyota T-1V (JWS 3309)
    Toyota WS (JWS 3309)

Does that mean I can run ONE fluid for both my power steering AND automatic transmission?

Also, would these two Mobil 1 ATF's fit the bill?
    Mobil™ DEXRON-VI ATF
Mobil ATF 3309 - "recommended for service fill applications where Toyota T-IV (T4) or T-III (T3) are called for"

Preventive maintenance is the best route to take, like you're doing. I baby my 2007 Camry the same way and I expect to get 500,000 mi out of her till she needs to be turned out to pasture.
