Do you guys know what I'd need to do a tundra front brake and or rear disc swap on my 1st gen....? Heard guys using other vehicles stuff on the rear.....not sure exactly what would be needed for the front. Thanks......

Is it just a one day thing? There is a big festival in my town on the 18th that I'm supposed to be doing tattoos at I can't skip that but if it's just the 17th I may make it.

I have no clue I have neither on my truck. Ask the dudes in this thread I know a bunch of them have the tundra swap.... https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...st-gen-edition.138573/page-3938#post-10223706

Fwiw I have the ebc stage 3 kit and it stops on a dime. And I'm pretty sure ruff stuff specialties will make the brackets for the rear.

Naw, takes a couple days to run if you want to have an enjoyable time. Typically leave work at noon on Friday and get to Loon lake trail head, camp, drive to Buck Island Saturday and out to Tahoe then home on Sunday.

Rubicon is pretty easy for the most part. IFS trucks just drag a little more in some sections but it's not as bad as you might think.

Thanks man. More work on it this weekend :burnrubber:

Yea, can't plan on failures but with the right spare parts, its fine. Axle as in CV? Maybe a cheap CV? I know those autozone CVs don't always go to the angles that OEM ones do.

ughhh cv's one day I wont have to worry about those anymore haha...

spent the day getting everything mounted, bolted down and locked up on the bed cage in preparation for the rock therapy trip in Moab in a few weeks.

first off I had to move the big ammo box over to make room for the water jugs, everything fits perfectly.

next was to bolt down the baja bins from SWAG offroad, basically a way to bolt down action packers so they dont move.

room for some coolers in front also.
