Dads open heart went well. Dr. said he did great. Praise God. Everyone at the hospital yesterday was awesome. They will be moving him out if the ICU today, and putting him in a room. Hopefully he will go home in about 5 days.

Thank you guys for your prayers. Praise God for giving the doctors the ability to fix problems like this, and for watching over my family in this time. He IS Great!

Eh I never have seen her again so I'm not complaining haha. And I am carefully what I wish for now. I actually enjoy being single right now since I can focus on school and not worry about a significant other.

Lachlan had another round of chemo getting ready for his next bone marrow transplant, but his body is not strong enough for it. 2 weeks ago he was in better shape, now his cells are 80% infected with the leukemia. He will not have another transplant. His skin disease is now spread to his liver and complicating everything further. Doctors expect two weeks. His family is remaining strong, and has returned home. They will spend the next few weeks together at home, enjoying one another. They have not given up and are still waiting for their miracle.

Lachlan took his last breath last night around 9:00 in his mothers arms. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for him and his family.

Here is a little story about this I was unaware of:

Lachlan's grandfather on his dad's side (Jim) passed away 9 years ago TODAY.

I like to believe that Jim came down to get him. Just think about it. Jim got to meet his first grandson last night, and Lachlan got to meet his grandfather, and the father of us all.

I write this with tears in my eyes, but in an almost happy way. I know now that he will be taken care of.

I now understand hoe people don't believe in God! I just lost my job today since the company doesn't want to keep my department open so it really sucks.

That's not quite how God works. However, that's how humans work.

God doesn't exist when you lose your job, but He's great when you get a new one, right? If that is the summation of your beliefs then I hope you use this as a springboard into self reflection.

Look man I lost my job I had been unemployed for 9 months before that and this job was awesome! I didn't mean God doesn't exist but when you literally lose your job out of the blue it hurts.

I'm not saying it doesn't suck to lose a job, I'm just suggesting that blaming God for the shortcomings of life is not how one should act. If losing a job makes you say "I understand why people don't believe in God" then I would (again) suggest you use this as an opportunity to strengthen your spiritual relationship.

Blaming God when life is hard and praising Him when it's good is not a path I would take, nor want someone else to take.

    Sorry for your job loss.

I'm really sorry to hear about that and I pray you find a new job in time to support yourself, your family, or whatever else you need.
I think that's a bold statement to give so vaguely, I understand it may have been meant as a joke? But I feel it should really have some more depth to it. I'm not old enough or experienced enough to tell people what to do, but I firmly believe that life and faith is about how you react, not about what you're reacting to. There are times in life you will get knocked down to a low point, but what happens next depends on how you react. If you react poorly, with a negative attitude, lose your drive or faith it's likely your path will follow suit. React proactively, giving thanks to God in all things and looking in the mirror before looking at others. I'm not saying you're not doing that, but that's one thing I try to uphold. What did I do that contributed to this event, and what can I do from here? How can I make the best of this situation and learn from it? I try to cast away all negativity.

Good luck MGM and I'm sure things will look up soon.

Pray as if everything depended on God
Work as if everything depended on you.

Don't loose faith in God, He has faith in you! What Man takes away, God will replace. Good luck to you and many blessings.

Well I can say now that God had a better job and it fits my school schedule so much better. I could use prayer because I'm going through a hard time right now. I'm honestly tired of dealing with my brother and his behavior. I have tried about 10,000 times to have a relationship with him and it is not going anywhere. I have two friends who are both dealing with their past demons and that is weighing heavily on me as well. I've been pulled and stretched the last few months and have grown a lot I just felt like I backslide with feeling angry about how nothing is changing in my living situation and how my parents don't seem to deal with my brother. I'm sorry For venting it's just been building up and has been beating me down. I do have a chance to move in with some awesome guys who have my back always. So yeah basically I could use prayer for my friends, my sanity, patience, not letting bitterness and anger build up inside me and I also need prayer for a few more hours at work so I can move out soon.

So my friend, Has been having some major chest pains lately, she went to the doctor the other day, and the doctor said that her lungs, aren't working to their full capacity. This is caused by her sternum being deformed in effect pushing her lungs down. The doctor said, that because of this, she can't get pregnant, if she did her lungs would compress and she wouldn't be able to breathe. She's not taking that as hard as I thought she would. But today, she went to get an x-Ray done. And she hasn't heard back from the doctor yet to my knowledge. I'm really worried about her, she's still able to do stuff, but the fact that the pain isn't just going away scares me. I know that gods plan is the best plan. But sometimes, when his plan isn't the typical way. It's really hard to stand idly by while someone you love goes through it, knowing you can't do anything. Thoughts and prayers for her would be appreciated.
