Ordered a sheet of ABS and some really strong 3M tape to make center console mount for my BlackHawk holster that didn't require any drilling. It's not used as a place of storage per say, but more for longer drives so it's more comfortable/accessible than the 4 o clock position in which I always carry.

My contribution is maybe kind of lame and does not involve tie downs, but I was always accidentally turning the heat knob one little bit too far to the left and activating the AC when all I really wanted was cool fresh air. This piece of scrap sticker makes it easy to turn the knob to the maximum travel without activating the AC. Looks a lot nicer not under the glare of the flash.

So far I've added an Advance folding bed cover and since removed it. Gave it to my son in Maine, he has an 05 2wd. GT perfect fit seat covers. Weathertech floor mats and window vent visors. Waag center brush/grill guard. Hose clamp tailgate mod. Turned off the seat belt chime. Added Ultra-Gauge. Trailer hitch. Softopper. Replaced sun visors with slide out style. Toyota bed extender. Had Firestone Destinations and now Michelin LTX AT2 in stock size. More mods to come; Fog lights, locking storage in bed, intermittent wipers. Now looking for Radio/HU upgrade. and maybe a lift way down the road.
Oh I hate that. I'll doing the sticker on the climate control knob this afternoon.

Putting it all the way to the left changes something? I assumed it was just letting me know that was the coldest it got. I use max ac all the time!

Nice mod. If you wanted to take it a step further you could open it up to see how the notches are made in other nobs to make your own notch for max ac.

turning the temp knob all the way to the left will turn your AC on automatically if you have only the fan going.

Is that for all 2nd gens? I'll have to check mine. To my knowledge the light has never come on unless I pressed it.

Got hassled by the man for not having my lights covered so I whipped these up for practically nothing.

    Old light covers cut down.

Slightly shortened dollar store hair ties.

Also made this flag mount out of an old fire stik. Flag is a nautical flag.

I've used 1/2" as well and they work great. I'm surprised 5/8 fits because I really had to struggle with sliding one of the 1/2" bolts in.

This is almost exactly what I did, I just used a spare piece of plexi and some of those 3m command strips. I was initially just testing it all, but 6 months later with cold and hot temps it hasn't budged! This is where I keep mine most of the time since I can't carry at work.

Mines been on there for a couple months now in the sweltering summer heat, and it's also doing great. It's FANTASTIC having it there while I'm driving because it is so much more accessible.
