What is the obsession with cup holders? My AC has 13 places to put drinks/cups/cans I can get 4 people in it (even though the people in the back are not real happy) so that gives me 3 1/4 drinks per person! At that rate I would have to stop every 50 miles so every one could pee.

Installed Cooper At/3's (265/70R16) and ProComp 7089 Rims. Tinted front windows. Did the Fog Light Anytime mod. Did the tailgate mod. Added running boards. Adding sound Deadening from RAAMaudio. Replacing stock speakers with Polk Audio DB6501's.
Hmmmm. I only have 9 in my AC. But at my age, I have to stop every 50 miles anyway.

Thank you for this thread! I've been getting so annoyed with the rubber insert sticking to my Yeti mug. I usually just take the insert out, but wished it had something more like this. One question, how do the little arms work that fit around your cup? Are they spring loaded and adjust as you put your cup in? Thanks again, will be buying this tonight!

They're just preset internal stops set at different settings (if that makes any sense). You just adjust them to the closest size of the cup your using.

My '05 came with these. I have no idea why they would have ditched these for a non adjustable rubber insert.

Cheap rubber one piece mold vs. multi-piece assembled thermo plastic = lower assembly costs = more profit

Hi guys....first time here and I'm happy to be amongst proud Tacoma owners. Although this is my first Tacoma I've had several Toyota trucks in the past and I'm glad I "got Jesus" and came back. My first truck was an '81 SR5 single cab. Man what a truck! I also had an '86 single cab longbed (ahhhh the beloved 22re) and my last was my all-time fav truck.....a '91 single cab, shortbed 4x4. Great 3 liter and there's just something about locking the hubs and shifting into 4 wheel drive that still makes me smile. In 4L that thing would crawl up a wall!

Now to my current, I see the link above is for the console cup holder divider however does anyone have a link to the pic below? It looks like a cool upgrade. Thanks in advance!

I too have experienced the demon that is the cup holder sticking to a yeti style cup and making its way in to the house. After having owned an 05 and not being impressed with the cup holder it had I was originally going to make new cup holders for the 13 out of kydex, but I had an epiphany, as a hobby I make leather holsters for all of my handguns. I will now be making a cup holder out of leather that hopefully will not stick to the yeti mugs. while I am at it I also figured on making inserts for the other lil cubbies in the console.

I have been watching closely for a TW genius to come up with some kind of idea... I hate the stupid cup holder, I have never once put a cup in there.
