I had E load. Had the same problems. Switched to a P load in the same tire. Much better. Our trucks to way enough to take advantage of the tire in an E load. It was like driving on hockey puck even aired down to 20 psi.

Might be onto something here. I run the C load (265's) and couldn't be happier. E load is overkill on a Tacoma and the downsides are numerous and even D load is debatable. For me the 6ply C Load will do all I need and then some, balances perfectly and saves me money at the pump plus handles quicker and smoother than a heavy sidewall tire. Not like I'm going to throw 5 tons into the bed so no need for that heavy duty truck stuff.

    Picture thread.

Agreed. The Duratrac E loads took like 25-30g to balance and he had a hard time getting it right. Same wheel used and installer on the Duratrac "P loads". He said it was way easier to balance and only took like 3 or 5g to do so. IMO C loads is max load I would put on these trucks unless the truck is used for special conditions. I know it's hard if someone wants a 285 because they're are very few C load options.

Installed Cooper At/3's (265/70R16) and ProComp 7089 Rims. Tinted front windows. Did the Fog Light Anytime mod. Did the tailgate mod. Added running boards. Adding sound Deadening from RAAMaudio. Replacing stock speakers with Polk Audio DB6501's.
    Love mine:

If you take a close look at the left center, you'll see the back end of my neighbors Colorado... This color looks better on a Tacoma :)

I know this is probably a stretch but I'm interested in trading the scooped Pyrite Mica hood from my 2015 for a non-scoop version plus some cash. Local only; I'm in the San Diego area.

Posted in the hood swap thread but given how few PM are out there I thought I'd also drop a note on this thread.

I like the look of the Pro grill, Up4Tacos. That might be next on the mod list!
