So I plan on going to new rims, but do not want to run the TPMS as they are being sold off with my old rims. Any special way to shut off the TPMS system in the truck?

Does mickey mousing the TMPS light cause a fault that will fail you for an inspection? I know that even one little idiot light can fail you these days, that's what I would be concerned with.
