**INSTRUCTIONS ON THIS POST, ENDS OCTOBER 14th, 2015**

First of all I want to thanks @BamaToy1997

    Electrical system upgrade!

What plans do you have on your build?

A lot of us have light setups, winches, fridges, secondary batteries, high powered audio systems, etc. What we dont know is that the performance of these items can be limited due to the weak stock wiring between the battery, starter and alternator.

Looks like we need to fill a gap, correct?

Here is where @BamaToy1997 comes in and creates a wiring kit to upgrade the Tacoma and 4runner flimsy wiring!

@BamaToy1997 has agreed to offer his stage one kit in form of a group buy!

So here is what the Stage 1 Kit comes with:

    • High quality battery terminals with built-in voltage gauge for "at-a-glance" reading of your battery status.
    • Heavy-duty 2 gauge primary cables for starter and vehicle grounds using welding cable with over 2000 strands of copper.
    • Heavy-duty 4 gauge alternator cable, and vehicle power cable made of the same welding cable style, with over 1000 strands of copper.
    • Heavy-duty 4 gauge power point draw with 130A fuse
    • Performance Stereo 8 gauge wire for body ground
    • Instructions on installation

I have personally installed his setup on my 3rd gen 4runner build and I can tell you his work and almost immediate customer service support is LEGIT!

    Here is his product threads:

    2nd GEN tacos:

Here is a picture of the wiring setup at my battery for my 3rd gen 4runner:

If you are looking to do heavy winching, heavy ligthing, or on a nice sound system :D

This is the deal for you!

Also, make sure to look into his high amp alternators which are NOT part of the group buy.

    So here's the juicy stuff :D :

Stage 1 Kits are typically $120 each, with $10 in shipping.

    1-10 kits - 5% off
    11-20 kits - 10% off
21+ kits - 10% off plus free shipping!

Free shipping to Alaska and Hawaii also!

    What's the turn around time?

3-4 weeks AT LEAST, to obtain materials, build and ship. Depending on amount of buyers of course..

    So who's in?

    ***MORE INFORMATION***

I have been fielding a lot of questions about prices so I thought I would have this added to save a lot of time for you all. I cannot give an exact price on the Kits until the final group buy date has passed. The reason is that the price is dependent on how many people sign up and commit. I have seen GB that had 50 people sign up, then when the day arrived, 20 dropped out. The base prices are going to be listed below, and you can see what the discounts are based on the number of people who sign up. Hopefully this will save all of you some time waiting on my replies, which sometimes can be hours.

Basic Stage 1 Kit for 1st and 2nd Gen Tacoma is $120
Stage 2 Kit (Basic Stage 1 Kit with alternator) will be the $120 above, plus the alternator chosen from below.
BASE price of the alternators are as follows:
    130A - $210
    200A - $265
    250A - $320

Stage 4 Kits will be discounted appropriately with the group buy, but since each Stage 4 Kit is custom dependent on the owner's choice of battery location, I can only give approximate prices until all truck information is given. Thanks a lot to all of you, and special thanks to @ramonortiz55for getting this GB set up.

    vehicle generation doesnt matter.

Group buy isnt limited to stage one kits.

You can get other stage kit levels, but youd have to contact @BamaToy1997 to see what the discount would be for what you are interested in, if its not stage one.

I will try to keep solid track of this thread any any questions you may have. If you would, because somehow some of my thread following isn't working, just tag me with your questions.

Some additional info for a few questions:

I can do a small amount of discount on the Stage 2 Kit. I will include the full GB discount on the price of the Stage 1 Kit.

The alternators I will knock an additional $10 off, and the shipping will be included if we hit 21 total orders. I'll be straight up with you, my profit on the alternators is only about $30 with normal pricing. That is why I can't offer more.

Initially I posted the above offer, however after doublechecking, and looking at the shipping costs, I can not add the $10 off in the section above. I am sorry, but the profit per unit would only be $10 total for me, and just not worth the effort of packaging and ordering. Sorry.

If you want a Stage 4 Kit, I will still keep the same GB percentage discount. (Please note that the Stage 4 is a VERY complex kit, and are custom built to each truck since there are about a half dozen locations people use for the secondary battery)
