    Lol. Nice, 12 is mean. Plus if you're running the extra fuel rail and fic it shouldn't be any issue whatsoever. You can run 12psi for years on our motor. I got over 6k on my setup and it hasn't flinched.

    @Rons01TRD

    Got an issue with the rear post on the alternator. Its about 1in from the exhaust:

    These pics aren't going to help much but should give a good idea of how close it is.

    You need a 90° wire harness.

    The harness is good. It goes out 90* and I wrapped it down around the bottom. This is the post for the 4ga wire to the battery.

    The only one I've seen was hydro locked and It put a rod through the block. IIRC, it was @Blackdawg? Anyways it was someone on here.

    Edit, yeah I remember the guy bouncing off the rev limiter in 4lo; that was stupid.

    This guy (the blue Tacoma) is completely stock with a modded ECU to raise the rev to 6.5k (IIRC) and 20psi of boost:

    He didn't say be blew is motor, he just said the weak point is the rod. Could be right, but from what I've heard, it was the crank :notsure:

    Couldn't really say tbh but both are cast and both are susceptible to breaking but the stroke and rods are pretty short so not much stress on those :notsure:

    That's right. I just knew it was someone on here that actually drives/enjoys their truck.

    I'm still not sure what to do with that wire. If I can find some silicon 4ga wire, that would be great but for now, I'm thinking of insulating with this:

    http://www.amazon.com/Heatshield-Pr...rue&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

    Wrapped with this:

    http://www.amazon.com/Heatshield-Pr...rue&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_3&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

    Its still pretty damn close to the exhaust and I don't know how well that will work. Exhaust temps (from another turbo build) should be around 1500F so radiant heat I'm guessing around 800F at the max?

    So how are you liking your turbo set up thus far? Are you running water/meth?

    No water meth. Turbo hasn't made a huge diff but its on low boost and not tuned so Ive kept RPMs down low when driving. The 5VZ pulls hard down low but tends to flat line in the mid RPM's. With the turbo, you can feel the power continue to improve through the RPM's making it a much more enjoyable truck to drive and really helps when you need some getup and go.

    @Rons01TRD fixed the alternator issue. Pulled the rear/stator off and rotated it and put It back on in a better position so that the rear post is well away from the headers.
