Thinking about doing the wheels and chrome on the bumpers matte black this weekend, opinions? Should I just leave the wheels as is? I don't mind them so much but thought they may look better black.

yes, the bull bar will be coming off

And speaking of retrofits... After waiting months for trs to get mini h1s back in stock i got impatient and ordered these after reading many good reviews. Quite a bit cheaper than morimotos too. Il be comparing them to older morimotos.

    Not needed with your headlights.

Just heat, seperate, install, and reseal.

They seem to be super bright so far. I have to cut my housings a little because the bowl is bigger on these.

Do the retrofit!! Best mod ever!!! Go through theretrofitsource and you can get 25% off as a TW member! They have a group buy page on here with the discount code.

It's really not that hard at all. The especially if you not doing halos or anything. I would buy new headlights though that are clear without all the lines

    Here is the headlights.
    http://m.ebay.com/itm/1997-2000-Toyota-Tacoma-Euro-Style-Black-Crystal-Headlights-Replacement-Pair-/190875717603?fits=Year:1998|Model:Tacoma&hash=item2c71144fe3:g:sjMAAOSwymxVRrpL

    And buy the kit.
    https://www.theretrofitsource.com/c...orimoto-mini-stage-3-kit-h1.html#.Vyvoz_lOnqA

Boom done. You need to choose what sealant you want, what shroud you want, and a wire harness. Can't remeber what one you need exactly. Go to the group buy thread and they will know! It's really not hard!

Do some research on Google, ask guys here if you have questions. It's not hard to figure it out all the information is on TW. Just got to look.

It'll all come with time. 350-450$ is a lot to drop on lights for me... Even if they would make me get all the bitchs...

If you didn't get anything in the kit that cost extra, besides the sealant.....

$282 with the 25% off is $212. Plus the $100 for the new headlights. So $312. They are so worth that as well you will wonder why you never got them sooner! Lol

morimoto is top of the line stuff and i dont think necessary. buy the projectors and you can find much cheaper decent hid kits with the harness for under $100

My first set of retros cost about $175 alltogether. ebay housings, hid kit, shroud, used morimotos.

Upgrading the projectors now because of heat damage
