I've seen them be replaced under warranty, only if the frame is being replaced too.

It's a shit design plain and simple. Pulling the cams and greasing the bolts is what we have to do. For your climate, I would say once a year is good. In an arid dry climate like mine, probably once every 5 years is fine.

That's a lot of money either way. No easy solution... Although, I know one member here is running a Dorman LCA with no issues I've seen reported. Significantly less parts cost... Still have to buy new bolts AFAIK.

A few posts back, someone is running a Mevotech LCA.

    Good luck

Which reminds me that I should pull and grease mine.. Should have done it yesterday when I changed brakes..

I've had the Dorman LCA's for a couple months now and am happy with them. They come with bushings pre-installed. I put the moog greasable cam bolts in and have been happy with those as well. I plan to grease them every oil change. Some people had problems with the moogs. I think you just need to make sure you (or alignment tech) are turning the right bolts to adjust them, otherwise they can be damaged.
This combo is much cheaper than oem.

Once I had my stock LCA's out, I used a hacksaw and cut out the old bushings, so now they are ready to be reused if need be.

That could be. I took detailed measurements of mine with a slide caliper of the Whitelines... I should post them before they get lost...

Just so you know, the Whitelines don't go in by hand at all. Maybe 1 CM, then have to be pressed, so similar to what you had originally reported...

Thanks for all your forum work Kev.

    @nj636

    Whitline big bushing measured 56.1mm
    Whitline small bushing measured 48.2mm

My factory OEM big one measured 55.5mm
Small one measured 47.6mm as measured in the middle.

My caliper is HF, so not super great. Also factory bushings are tapered, so measurements will vary depending on where measured from.

All measurements above were done in the center of bushing.

Congrats on conquering the bushing seized bolt madness!

    I'm not too far behind...

I just got brand new LBJ's pressed into my refurb LCA's, paint drying... Almost ready!

$141 for the Whitelines on Amazon. Wow! Wouldnt it be easier and cheaper to buy a complete arm from Rock Auto. Mevotech and Moog arms for less than $100.

    Moog, pics over here

Yes it would. Dorman also makes an arm.

But there is a major difference. The Whiteline are a very high quality polyurethane. They are in a different class, made for performance.

While I trust Moog BJ, I don't trust Mevotech... Too many complaints about horrid quality, aka junk.

Check the reviews on Amazon to see...
