    I honestly don't think they worked when new. My braking has vastly improved with the new valve.

    Yesterday got to meet another TW member @teamhypoxia - went to his garage and replaced rotors and front pads.

    Rotors were EBC slotted/drilled from squeakypenguin... got them turned.
    Pads are Akebono OE replacements.

    Easy job, brakes great... no more warped rotor feedback to the steering wheel.

    I just replaced rotors and pads up front. Would be nice to dial in the rear and have the truck's brakes operating optimally.

    So here's another question, pretty sure I know the answer.

    If your rear axle seal and maybe bearings were bad, would you still drive the truck? Just make sure it has diff fluid in it?

    I don't know if it's out for sure, I know atleast a seal, pretty sure.

    I did for a couple weeks. Just keep an eye on the oil level, and also note your rear brakes probably won't work that great being the shoes are soaked with oil.

    If I had leaky rear axle seals I would always replace the bearings. Bad bearings are often a cause for the leaky seals, and the gear oil can wash the grease out of the bearing.

    even if it was the weld will easily fill the gap.

    alot still need done
    Was just under my truck spraying wd40 on the leaf spring bolts and stock ubolts. Realized that that the stock shock mounts are staggered. One in front of the axle and the other on the back. Was wondering if I weld the new ones on the back of the axle would I need to modify the top shock mounts?

    Well if you aren't going to change the top mounts you're gonna have to weld one mount per corresponding side
