I'm trying to find the brightest brake lights I can find. How does this work. Is it size based? Type based. Are the ones you listed the brightest leds for brake lights?

I night shaded my brake lights and while I still think they are plenty visible, I don't want to risk it.

Anyone who is one the fence about the TRS 2 Stroke LED bulbs, this is a picture of my output with those bulbs next to a Corolla with factory LED headlights which people seem to compare with and rave about.

Did you have the OPT7's before the 2Stroke? I know someone did, but I can't remember who. I like my OPT7's but would like a little more distance down road. I figure the OPT7's and 2Strokes are probably very similar and output is most likely the same. Thoughts?

Was your pic above with just the 2Strokes, or did you have some LED fogs on as well?

I did not have the Opt 7 brand in this truck, I have used Morimoto on other vehicles, although this is my first experience with their LED products. I do have the XB LED fog lights, they were not on in this picture.
When I first installed the 2 Stroke, I was underwhelmed, mostly because I'm a lighting snob. My Jeep had a MD2S 3.0 BiXenon retrofit with 50w capsules and ballasts, along with the XB LED fogs and that was eye searing daylight. These are not as intense, once I accepted that and started comparing these to just about every vehicle I passed this weekend on a 1200 mile round trip drive, I was completely satisfied with their output and throw.

I ordered some of these tho:
    image.jpg
just gotta pinch the connector together so it's not loose.

but I might switch up to a lesser wattage bulb just to be on the safe side even tho nobody has had a problem yet.
    like these
    image.jpg
it's 37w vs 50w like the one above.
supposedly will be brighter then any led u can get

It's cool. I'm just gonna try the leds listed by the op. I'll do a comparison tomorrow with stock.

Myv taillights are blacked out. So to be safe I want something brighter. Although they worked fine today. Flipped my turn signal on and the person behind me promptly switched lanes.

Just did the brake lights. Absolutely zero added brightness. Sending them back.

Just wanted to Share some info I ordered the dome light led for my 17 Taco and it did not fit in the socket. It is the correct bulb but its made just a hair to long to fit into my Tacoma.
