NEED HELP with Lightbar Whistle

I installed a curved 50" lightbar and it whistles non stop. I was told and read that these plastic strips would stop the whistling so I got some and there was not even a difference. is there any other solutions to get rid of the whistle? please.. its driving me crazy

Could you use a clear rigid material as a windscreen that would just act as a second lens?

I have wind whistle too, but usually only >50mph. my solution is to turn up the radio. I've tried a few different techniques. My next step is to take some silicone and fill in the bottom 2 fins.

 

I've got a wrap around, neoprene, Velcro cover.

Had terrible wind noise/whistle that was fixed with this.

This got rid of my whistle issue along with the glare on the windshield and hood.

Have you guys tried foam inserts I'm the fins? Some have done this With success. Its also a good idea to use masking/electrical tape to tape to try and isolate where it's coming from. The idea is to do single strips horizontally along the entire length of the fins, drive and see if whistle disappears. If so, stop and pull one strip off, drive a short distance and repeat until the noise comes back. Then you'll know where to place foam inserts or door trim. Mine ended up being on the bottom of bar and not the fins at all.

I've also seen some rubber type isolators that come with bars. They're like a vertical strip of rubber with tabs that insert into the fins. I've only seen them on eBay with generic/random bars and haven't looked to see if there's any for sale by themselves. I'll search later.

It's a little longer than the bar, so it hangs over...

I'm happy with it and it cut down almost all road noise and protects the lense from sun and road hazard damage.

 

GOOD NEWS! Finally solved my wind whistle. There was a small channel underneath the bar (not a cooling fin) that when the wind travels up the windshield it must have been caught by this channel. I taped over it and ALL GONE!
