We all seem to have asked how to get all the doors unlocked with just one button click. We have seen posts with special sequences or thoughts regarding the dealers tech program but no luck.

It is time to mod this thing to our liking and this is the plan.

When we hit the unlock button once the solenoid in the drivers door is energized to open the lock. If we were to run a lead/jumper from this terminl on the solenoid to the switch mounted on the armrest for unlocking all doors it should energize the circuit and in turn activate thru the existing system all the other door solenoids. We would not actually bypass anything existing just input the signal the switch usually sends with the same signal sent to unlock the drivers door. Bingo all open with one click, seems simple enough.

I have yet to try this and want some feedback from the brain trust here first . I don't see why this shouldn't work. Do you?

More brain drippings. There must be relays in the system, a jumper there would be simpler.......right?

First thought, what if a hoard of zombies was chasing you. The only place you can go is inside your truck at the time. One click u locks all the doors, zombies beat you inside the truck! Now you die!

Second, how hard is it to push a button twice? If that's to hard. You can place the key in the key hole of the door. Turn and hold. All doors unlock.

I just did the "silence the chirp" mod. Nobody knows how many times I push the button now!

OP, I'm with you on this one. I think it'd be a great idea to tweak our truck to exactly how we want it. Is it difficult to push the button twice? No. Do I still want one touch unlock? Hell yeah. This mod is no different than any of the countless other mods that are more or less unnecessary. It's all about making our truck OURS.

I don't know how many times I've locked the doors, then unlocked the driver's side to drive home, then later wanted to get something out of the passenger side - and no longer have the key with me...

Step one: Open the drivers door and insert the key into the ignition

step two: Remove the key from the ignition and, within 5 seconds,
reinsert the key back into the ignition and switch to the on position.

Step three: After 10 seconds, the system enters the answer-back mode

step four: Within 10 of the answer-back beep the switching mode is
started, press the remote twice and teh system will turn off
or on based upon which the system is set.

I can't confirm these working, but this is what I found after a few minutes of digging. Sorry to thread jack OP.

works on a 2013 tacoma. Note: will not work if connector to key cylinder is disconnected (ie. to disable the beeping when the key is inserted and the door is open). Just reconnect it, perform task as directed above and then disconnect it.

I was reading TW on my phone just before going to sleep (already in bed). Been wanting to do this but hadn't really searched for it yet. So when I cam across your post, I immediately went out to my Taco and tried it. Worked great, I love not having the chirp when I use the key fob.

Pushing the unlock button twice is nothing. Annoying is having a '16 SR without remote locks and without a lock on the passenger side. I can't simply unlock the passenger door if I need to grab something without having to first go unlock the driver's door. Pretty freakin' cheap of Toyota to not even put a lock on the passenger side. I also have a '15 TRD OR and wouldn't mind doing this mod.
