Awesome! You won't be disappointed! As far as things you'll need, idk what tools your friend has but it never hurts to be prepared... If you have pneumatic tools, sawzall, floor jack, tall jack stands, torque wrenches etc you'll probably use all of them. Oh and make sure you pb blast the crap out of all your nuts/bolts for a few days. I did and still had to cut my sway bar end links because they were so rusted.

If you want I can post some links to tutorials here on the site for swapping out your suspension.

The same shit everyone else has.
I started with soaking them in watered down bleach. It kinda worked

Switched to aerosol oven cleaner & scuff pads. Works way better.

They are about 90% clean. Soaking them overnight and hitting them with more oven cleaner tomorrow. They should be ready for paint soon.

I know I've been annoying with my suspension questions on here lol, but you guys are the best and quickest to respond, I'm about to pull the trigger on some bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks and will have the front at 1.75in or 2.5in settings, but I will wait about 3 months to get some coils as there not super cheap, but any recommendations? i want the absolute nicest ride possible thats isn't going to horribly break the bank.

We took two Tacos down to Hatteras Village for s Surf Fishing trip. Had a blast one day when we caught 44 Blue fish, but we couldn't snag a puppy drum.

Beautiful cell phone pics. My buddies have alot of GoPro footage and pictures so hopefully I get some of that.

Hopefully the fishing at home heats up now.

call marie at headstrong and tell her exactly what you want in regards to lift and ride and what your budget is. unless you have access to a coil compressor wait and get it all at once and have them preassemble your struts it gives you new top hats and bushings also then you just remove the old and install the new

Nice! I painted my chrome grill surround a while back, but it definitely hasn't lasted as long as I wanted. I'm thinking it's cause the paint and primer don't stick too well to the chrome. Maybe I'll try it again but strip the chrome first this time.

Scuff the chrome with fine sand paper and spray with etching primer before the regular primer
