LOL... I would not sell mine even for 40K cash now, the small bodies and reliable engines won't get back , we are lucky to have a 1st generation regardless mileage IMHO:cheers:

For me , its worth 20K. Not 40K. I have a 2017 TRD Pro coming at that price.

Truth is, owner isn't selling it, regardless of price.

Sure thing. I don't have many decent pictures of mine on hand, but here's a couple.

The first pic requires some explanation, this crazy woman next door was kicked out by her son and set herself up in between our houses. She slept on the concrete for about two days, and I just so happened to be working on putting on that grille guard in picture two during that time. I can tell she had some mental issues (she was singing songs about Jesus really loudly and appeared to be talking on the phone, yet her hands were empty) long story short, I was spray painting a bed toolbox I got on Craigslist in my garage, and apparently the 'fumes' from my closed garage were, and I quote "making me sick, the government sent you!".

Anyway, I wake up the next morning and my first instinct is to look out the window. The damn woman silly stringed my truck. And part of my house. She didn't realize that I had security cameras aimed right at where she was. I asked her why she silly stringed my truck, and she was like "Oh, so my helicopters and see you!"

We called the cops and she got arrested, turns out she had 4 warrants out for her arrest. This deserves a story on it's own.

Anyway, in this picture you can see how the clear coat is starting to oxidize and peel off.

Just a shade over 60k on my 2002 XC TRD Off Road. Bought it with 55k on the clock, and she was pristine. Now she's tubbed, and not ever going to be stock again, which is just fine with me. I intend to keep her until I need more room. Until then, she's gonna be my adventure rig :D

Just hit 37k today on mine...at this rate I'll have put as many miles on it in one year as it's had in its first 12 years lol.

I'm jealous...hoping within the next 2 years I'll be able to get a 2nd commuter vehicle so I don't rack up the miles on my truck.

Oh nooo!!! I don"t think on Saving miles for the trruck anymore by making the mistake of using it as secondary. I already went that route when I had the 2doors Yaris to commute to save money in gas and an ext. cab for just weekends (260k got it 264k gone) , difficult to get in and out of them with 2 doors, I sold both to get a 4 doors 4wd and drive it daily as much miles while alive, Tacoma won"t complaint on Rack up the miles, enjoy daily the little dinosaur truck:D:thumbsup::oldglory:

Just picked up a super clean/OG 2004 base regular cab 5 speed with 56K miles, my new commuter/utility vehicle. Replacement for my 2001 with 250K miles.
It popped up on CL, they are still out there....

I did before I bought mine, just because I was skeptical.

Mileage was legit, as was the ownership. Two owners in eastern Cali (nice and dry), who were both military and deployed most of the time. Third owner in Colorado was a cousin of the first two, and rarely drove it, since he had a DD and an FJ.

Yes, it's legit. Checked all the paperwork and every service was done at Toyota. Everything inside and out was pristine on this truck until I got my hands on her lol.
