    Welds and Cuts and stuff
    Used some adhesive zip tie anchors to secure the wiring. 10 pack for $1.80 so if I have to replace them every year then oh well.

    Wrapped it in wire loam as well to keep the sun off. kinda want to wrap the connector also but not sure what to use?

    I also need to play around with the front crossmember to get the light bar possition just right. My 40" is like 1mm to wide for the 40" cuttout fairing. need to bring it back and up just a tiny bit and may need to drill new mounting holes in the side rail, no biggie.

    Anyone of you dealing with horrible wind noise? I saw the recommendation to add an additional plat behind the wind deflector, but I rather not modify such an expensive rack....

    So what's a trick to getting a broken nut out of the plus nut?
    I broke two now, I'm putting the rack on with better hardware for sure, these plus nuts are aggravating, I drilled the holes slightly small even so they wouldn't spin and they are very hard to get two expand and sit flat. They have been the most frustrating part so far...

    I am assuming you mean broken bolt.

    The plusnuts have kicked my ass. I haven't installed my rack yet due to side airbag issues, but I have practiced installing the plusnuts in scrap metal with little success. That is until I got this tool:

    It made all the difference for me. I was able to get them good and tight. Amazon sells the plusnuts too.

    I did break a bolt when I over tightened one. I was able to drill it and get it to spin out the bottom of the plusnut. I am worried about them spinning when I do the install. I have bought Grade 8 hardware for my install. Did you remove your headliner? Helps to be able to see whats going on.

    No I haven't, update though I got them all right, broke three bolts(that is what I meant, I was in the heat of the moment.

    Taking off the headliner would probably make things wwwwwaaayyyyy easier, you could have a freind hold the plus but still from the bottom to allow it to expand.
    I was being very careful with the bolts and they still snapped, I used a new bolt for every plus. It because I got so frustrated. But now my only problem is getting out some snapped bolts...
    Everything else was very simple, and I wasn't to stressed about drilling the cab because you could just cover them with new wheather strip down the road if you took off the rack and no one would know..
    It went more smooth when I put a washer on top of the spacer.

    Other than the that I can't wait to have this thing up on top!

    If I hadn't taken out the headliner, I would have drilled right in to the airbags on both sides for the rear mounting feet. Luckily Zach offered to make me two longer sides that will put the holes I have to drill in the rear past the airbags. When I get some good weather I'll get mine installed. That tool will make it go alot better for me. Good luck.
    I can't wait to get mine installed to.

    Take the headliner out, that way you will be sure. Here is what mine looked like on both sides: The air bags were up against the channel you have to drill through. I would have been screwed. I think the new racks are comming with the longer sides, so it won't be an issue. But to be sure' take the headliner out. It's not that hard, and while it's out you can Dynamat the roof.

    I don't have airbags so its less stress, but I wish I would have taken out the headliner..
    punches come in the mail tomorrow and should be good to go.
    just need to buy new hardware good to go.

    I still am impressed with the product and his customer service is great, us access cab guys just get the short end of the stick as far as easy installs go.

    What light bar are you all running? I'm hopefully in the works of ordering a rack, and curious to the options for a bar and mounting brackets that you use.

    I want to go with Rigid, but they are High $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Not sure how the other brands are.

    I re-siliconed the caps on my Amazon crapo lightbar for my bumper, and I havent had any issues yet..

    yeah, the Heretic that Zach sells with the racks are amazing too, just not sure with so many different options and price ranges what people have gone with and how they hold up.

    I went with an Auxbeam single row 40" bar. Used the the mounts which came with the bar and it works well!

    I kind of want to stay with Rigid cause I already have 2 sets of Duallys mounted and a 20"light bar in my front bumper. But the Rigid 40" is over $900.
