Annual Tillamook State Forest camping/wheeling trip in Oregon

 

Discovery Pass has been acquired

 

Whaaat, where can I find the deets?

 

Wait for it to come around. @snowgod06 gets privilege of seeing dates cuz it's almost the only run he ever gets to do due to his crazy job

 

LOTS of ice. Even the lakes/ponds along the main road before the staging area were frozen over. You can kinda see how thick the chunks are in these pictures.

I don't know what any of the hills/trails are called but I used 4wd for this one. Pretty tight at the top with a sharp right turn to exit.

@Chickenmunga why is it so strict that we have to post a list of who's going to the forest service?

 

I was there Friday for about a half day. Broke through ice as well. That was my 1st time for my buddy and I so we just putted around. I think we stayed on 84n mostly

 

So... Had me a fucking winchfest today. I'll let you guess what got winched.

Ew... eco diesel

 

The 4 runner didn't do too bad after I aired him down to about 11 or 12 lbs. The dodge... At least it's quiet and luxurious. Actually it did a lot better than I expected.

 

Yeah, who would want 31mpg in a full size truck with 4 people in it...

That's what my buddies got btw, on a recent trip we took in it.

 

Not because of that, but the engine is terrible. Everyone I know that has one has had nothing but problems with it. Same with @dakotasyota.

 

was that you in Issaquah with the snorkel and bumpers? haven't seen your truck in a long time. I had just seen @Beavis 2.0 30 seconds prior to that. I didn't recognize your face but it was only a split second I looked back to see who it was lol

 

Ford is bringing out a 1500 in a diesel this year.... tempted....

I love my truck but damn that T4R Pro is nice!!!

 

Once you lift it and put some decent tires on it's essentially an expensive paint scheme, grille, and sunroof delete kit.
