so i don't like to have my dog on the seats in the back seat, i would like to know if anyone has modified the back seat so they can sit comfortably in the back with the seats folded up.

    Hey!

I fold the back seats down for a flat solid surface. I bought a $8 rug from Walmart that fits just about perfectly, I think it's a shoe matt rug or something, as there is rubber on the bottom that keeps it from slipping. I then sit my pooches bed on that. He likes it as he doesn't slip around if I corner fast or hit the breaks. Plus, he loves sticking his head out the back window!

Fold the seats back up when transporting people, and you are ready to go! (fur and dirt free!)

The only problem with this set up is sometimes his back legs fall into the storage pocket that are present behind the back seats when folded down. This can easily be fixed with a rolled up towel or like in my case, a recovery bag with tow straps and stuff!

    Cheers!

Yeah. I still occasionally need to use my back seat as a back seat so constructing anything permanent isn't really an option.

Likewise, plus they're awesome for carrying groceries.
