Will this 3rd Gen 4 runner key ring work on the 1st gens?

First and last page should have all the info you need. I just did this a few weeks ago and my last post goes over my process on my 02.

 

You wouldn't happen to know the factory part numbers for the ring and bezel?

 

No, but i'm 99% sure the part you linked is correct. Should be the same part for 99-02 4runners. You also need the circle bezel piece which is talked about on the first page of the thread I linked. Apparently that is not sold alone new from the dealer but they are easy to find on ebay.

Ok..pretty sure part numbers are #81870-35020 for the lamp and #55408-35010 for bezel

 

I almost bought that exact bezel earlier today! I made an offer on another one for $10 and they took it.
