    Pioneer head unit, canister bed cover (truck covers USA), nerf bars
    haven't ripped the dash back apart to find out yet. I have the wires for the Dual USB accessible. tonight i plan to wire that into the fuse box to see if that fixes the problem. If not, then I will disassemble the dash and test the USB cord that came with Pioneer unit. Just wanted to see if anyone else had this issue.

    Does anybody know what this means?

    Toyota Tacoma 2012-2014 (Left Side ONLY)​

    Does that mean the slots left of the steering wheel? Or the left-most slot of the center console?

    On a slightly different note. I added a 12 volt port with a lighted ring for my daughters in my wife's Prius.Their phones and tablets seem to always be dead. Makes trips much better. If they need a 12 volt port they're good. Otherwise I plug in an adapter with dual USBs. It's powerd off of an existing 12 volt source in the center console.

    I received this dual USB port in the mail yesterday and installed it today. It fits great and is just what I was looking for. I did have to modify it slightly to suit my needs. First of all, it came with blue LEDs that stay lit while powered up. Since I wired it up to have power even when the key is removed, I had to remove the LEDs. I did so by opening the unit up and using my soldering iron to loosen the LEDs from the board. (I could have also just cut them off) The unit is also kind of cheaply made and when I tugged on the usb plug I had inserted it pulled the front off of the unit. I solved this problem by using zip-ties on the wires coming out of the back of the unit. This keeps the insides of the unit from pulling the front cover off.

    My Schosce phone mount had a blue LED that was bright enough to burn my retinas. I put a small piece of black electrical tape over it.
