    Hey, all.

So I've gone through several threads on this including the FAQ. I feel like now I have too much information. I want to do a little overlanding. From what I've found, I can put LT265/75R16 on my stock truck without rubbing. I was looking at Grabber AT 2. Great. Tires. If I don't lift, I guess I'm set, there.

If I do want to lift... I'm comparing options on toytec that have been suggested by other threads, here and still having trouble selecting the best option for me. Ya'll have talked me out of spacers just because I want something more robust, so go you/me.

I'm comparing the following full setups:

ULTAC-2005 - Toytec Ultimate Lift Kit '05-15 Tacoma
TTHA-CK - Toytec 3" lift kit with Bilstein 5100 Front Coilovers
BK0510 - Bilstein Adjustable lift kit with 5100 shocks
OME-TAK - OME Tacoma Suspension lift kit
T3 - Zone Offroad 6" Suspension System for 05-15 Tacoma

So please, if you could, just weight in and let me know based on experience, which of these I should go with. They're all within the cost range I'm looking for. Thank you!!

Get this. 265/75/R16 will be a perfect tire and itll keep you below that 2.5-3" mark where you then need new UCA's. Wheelers offroad.

Not trying to be a dick, but it sounds like you need to keep researching on TW, this place is a gold mine.

That tire size is over 31" (closer to 32").

Haha like I said "I have no clue." thanks for that, though. Edited.

It's not that I haven't looked. It's just there's so much info and a lot of different needs.

Out of what you have listed I believe I'd go with the OME kit.

Good advice though to give Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road a call. She'll get you fixed up.

X2 for OME but you'll need new UCA's & 265/75/R16 are gonna look small with it as it'll likely get you a full 3".

So if I plan to put a steel bumper/winch and all that, I should go with the 886 coils?

Yes you would. I am sure you've read these but I'd suggest going thru them again.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tacoma-lift-faq-guide-read-this.11282/
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/old-man-emu-questions-answers-pictures.258245/

If you're going front bumper & winch you'll want a beefier set up than what I posted. Continue digging thru the suspension section of the forum. Google sear your questions with the word "tacoma" in it and 99.99% of the time google will find the thread within TacomaWorld.

Alright I sent an email to Headstrong. Any bets on what I get back?

    Hello!
I was told by a couple of people on TacomaWorld to hit you up with some build questions I have. I’m looking for a complete suspension system that will allow me to achieve some clearance and better offload capability. Here are the details:

    Truck
    2013 SR5 DCSB 4x4

    Planned Tires

Grabber AT 2 LT265/75/R16 on stock wheels

    Planned Mods (weight)

    Steel bumper with winch
    CBI Overland Bed Rack

    Planned Usage

Really just overland, get-where-I-need-to sorts of usage
    No rock crawling.
No prerunning, but going fast through the desert as a possible option, occasionally.

    Budget

I’d like to keep this under $2000 if at all possible.
If there’s anything you can come up with that fits this need, that would be really awesome. Thank you!

OME with 886, LR or TC UCA's and Dakars. That's my guess. That'd put you right around that $2000 mark I think.
