yeah weekends are where its at. I was out today on some trails in Truckee, lots and lots of water out there it was crazy.

 

Yeah id be in for sure if we did it on a sunday it looks like a nice day trip

 

dammmmm. that looked like a vett. Yeah for sure loads of water this year. Truckee river is flowing like crazy.

 

ughhh did i just mistake a vett for a mustang, not a fan of neither but shit I was way off.

 

I could prob take a day off on Wednesday to go out. Weekend would be better because my ski resort job ends this weekend and won't start back up till June.

 

got out there a little today, lots of water for sure.

 

Ok, well hopefully in the next few weeks I will be able to get out there. I was planning on starting out at the airport in Smith Valley since I am familiar with that location and am friends of the occupants of the airport. As far as the weekend goes, time off where I work right now is a fantasy since we are short staffed and busier than we have been in a few years. I will have to settle for a Wednesday or Thursday trip. I will keep you guys posted, that way if you want to join me, we can meet up and go.

 

We should get a group and do Moab. Or even a mammoth trip

 

I'm down for whatever. I can get time off assuming I have enough time to give notice. I should hopefully have the CVT tent from the group buy this summer. When I get the tent, I will be a camping/overlanding fool for the rest of the summer. I might even see if I can tolerate some snow camping too.

that looks like a good box to bad I am broke. I want one but same time have a box in my truck already I use. I wonder if it will work once I get my roof top tent.

Have any of you guys done the Rubicon trail? I would love to get out on that and check it out. Maybe get a group drive going. Would have to be awhile from now though, lots of snow to melt still.

 

Yep did it two years ago. Another group went last year. If you're rolling IFS on it you better be built.
