So keep current AAL and stack it with dakars? Longer brake lines probably eh?

Honestly I'm not sure if they did that or not. I take it back it at 100 miles and then 500 miles for them to retorque everything, so I'll find out. I don't really do any offroading, though it would be fun to give it a try.

Installed the dakars and ome shocks this weekend. Took about 4 hours by myself. Very straight forward and every bolt came out with no problem! It rides like a caddy now! Im very impressed with how tight the leafs are, but yet it rides and takes bumps super smooth. :yay:

One of the first trips I took post lift I finally got to some fun curvy roads and woke my girlfriend up from her nap to tell her "It tracks like a race car now!!!" to which she just smiled and went back to sleep.

I have a 2017 DCSB and I will be adding a Leer 100XR, Prinsu Cabrac and Awning along with a DIY Drawer system. I am expecting around 300ish lbs sitting over just the bed as a constant load. If i do 887 coild and the standard leaf pack do y'all think I will maintain close to that 1" of stock rake? I prefer to have that 1" of rake.

2.75" is average height for a full Dakar pack.

You're adding 300 lbs or more and wanting 1" of rake.

What are you current measurements, hub to fender, front and rear?

Just realized you have a third gen.

With Dakars you'll be sitting at approx. 24.75" in the rear, and the 887s will only yield you a 2" lift or so, right? So you'd have maybe 23" up front, which is almost 2" of rake unloaded.

    Do you think 300lbs will push it down 3/4 - 1 "?

    No way.

300 lbs is just about where Dakars start to move.

I had 250 lbs in mine and it was 2.75" of lift. To get down another inch from there I was closer to 700 lbs if not more.

    Could.

Marie sells one of those, it'll drop you down to the height you want to be, but you could also remove a leaf from the Dakars and lose some height. Not sure how much that changes.

I found a 3 leaf AAL to be too weak, so I'd recommend a single leaf, myself.
