use these as T-slot nuts by ripping off the spring, then find a bolt that will work with the thread pattern.

    IMG_5960.jpg

I would buy some Aluminum flat bar.. easy to cut/bend, doesnt rust

Then drill and get some longer bolts for this setup, but apply it to the maxsa boards:

    solid idea!

put those slotted nuts in the rail, bolt a piece of aluminum flat bar to the slotted nut, and put some long bolts in the flat bar and hang the recovery boards on the long bolts and secure w/ wingnuts....

oh boo hoo. 10 hour days.. I wish i worked 10 hours. People that work 8 hours, and still complain. I work 12 hour days.

Another friend works 14 hour nights M-F, and unloads 30,000 lbs of food every day. I dont hear complaints

i would add a bend at the bottom of the flatbar to rest on the bed, like I did in my mount for the WaterPort. In your current design, all the weight of the boards, will be pulling on the bedrail

just toss a 90* bend so it rests against the bed? yea that's not a bad idea.... I might put a little rubber piece so the bar doesnt scratch up the bed.
