if you install the bd tune on a trd flashed ecu, will it go back to the trd tune if you uninstall the bd ?

It should, right ?

 

It should but doesn't mean it will. That's if the bullydog can even upload it's flash to a trd flashed ecu, I am not sure it has been done before.

 

Note: For the calibrations for the TRD Supercharger systems, your stock ECU must first be flashed with the TRD Calibration file by the Toyota dealer before you can use the Bully Dog upgraded calibration file.


Interesting disclaimer for bd tuner. This wasn't included when most/all of us bought our mag SC with the bd tuner.

 

Best way to mount bully dog GT.

Mine came with the magnuson super charger kit.

 

How did you do that ?

 

I had a blank where a switch would normally go. I pulled the blank out, ran the hdmi up. The hdmi is just wide enough to where it wedges in the slot when sideways, so there isn't any movement of the bully dog on road. It was as easy as that. Took about 3 mins.

 

Did you find anything for the 2.7L?

 

I didn't use the bullydog unit that came with my magnusson supercharger. If someone wants it- pm me an offer.

Everywhere I look it says that nothing supports the 2015 tacoma. Everything supports the 2014. I am even afraid to go sc because i am not sure if i can flash my ECU after install.
