Today was a little shopping day for the next trip with the woman. Bought went at Cabelas but only found a toy for the dog. The tent I wanted was out of stock. So we went to Sail and found that there was a big sale on camping stuff. We got a really nice tent for 50%off! And also a great coleman xtreme cooler 20% off and a few more little things.

Here is the little camping trip report.

It's been the 7th edition of the boys camping trip at the 31 miles lake. This year we were 9 friends, including 2 new guys who had a blast! here is a few pictures of the week end!

On the island we rent, there is a cliff to jump off safely. There is 25-30' deep of water right at the bottom of the cliff. We also always have a boat on the water in case we need help

We do have a great fire pit and always bring extra wood to make it big haha

And there is always an awesome sun at dusk

We used the boat a lot this year, spending all day exploring the lake and other islands and taking a swim. We went at the Bay of the Coucou (real name of it lol). There is always a lot of boats, in any size. Great place to hang out, looking at others boat and enjoying the sand beach. I don't have any pics of it since I left my phone in the tent in case I forget it in my pocket while jumping in the water!

Each year we are getting more equiped. This time we had 2 big 10x20 tents, full chairs, 3 hammocks, food for an army, charcoal bbq (we hide it in the bush, and we find it the year after:rofl:), propane burner to make fries and use the giant pan for breakfast.

I finally ran out of gas on our way to the ramp lol had to be towed by my buddy:laughing:
