The set I bought was for H11B, shouldn't need an adapter. It just doesn't fit right.

H11b is the bulb type, you'll still need the harness adapter

The harness is universal. (aka 9006). You need an adapter.

Installed these Saturday and definitely experiencing some bouce.
I swapped the O-Rings from the stock thinking that would help. I'll be putting the ones that came with them in to see if that's any better.

    Suggestions welcome. ☺️

Did you try the supplied "Higher Density" bulb seals or just go strait to the factory ones? The Higher Density seals are very hard to twist into place and you may have only tightened them part way. I had to really go after it to get them installed. I have logged about 20,000 miles with my kit and no issues. No bounce and I live in the snow belt so our roads are not all pristine.

I'll have to give that a try. It was really noticeable on the trails this weekend.

New kit just installed. Lots of bounce for me. I made sure they were tightened all the way in.. have not tried switching the stock grommet to the HIDs yet.

Has anyone tried a different companies bulb with this kit? Really wanting to get a HID setup going but know that if I'm one of the unlucky people to get bounce its going to drive me nuts.

Also side note Xenondepot has a 15% off code today, anyone use there setup? bulb bounce?

I actually tried stacking the halogen bulb grommet with the one that came with the HID bulb. Nope, that didn't even want to go into the socket.

Last week I finally finished the install of my 35W 4500K HIDs along with the XB fogs. The night has come alive! I went into it worried about the shake/bounce issue and am happy to report that my lights are solid. The bulbs were tough to get into the socket but patience is your friend. I'd rather have them super-tight than not.
I live 3 miles from pavement and the road is not kind to my truck but the Morimoto kit stands up. As mentioned elsewhere, the basic install is easy but it took a while to get all of the wiring/igniters/computers mounted and tucked away neatly. The only issue was aiming the fogs which seem to come out of the box set very low. I'm happy with the product and it outperforms the Morimoto kit I put in my old JK Wrangler. Looking forward to the dark.....

I have looked into those, at this point I think im between the xenon depot with Philips bulbs or Morimoto 4500k 35w.

I read this whole thread and cant remember if anyone has had shake/bounce issues with 4500k morimoto? Anyone?

    DiodeDyamics is listing H11
    TRS is listing H11B

    Any thoughts?
