I know people have done retros on 2nd gens, but I never seem to see what kind of headlights they are using. Mine are from the factory and are destroyed from the burning DRL. So I'm going to buy new ones and black them out and replace all the bulbs with LEDs. I've listed a couple headlight assemblies below, what are your thoughts in terms of quality of them? Keep in mind I'm just going to retrofit and reseal them.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005...ights+2009&dpPl=1&dpID=51WbcjHXLwL&ref=plSrch

Or something like the first ones listed here:
https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/toyota,2009,tacoma,4.0l+v6,1442967,body,headlamp+assembly,10762 These are cheaper, but they seem to have a yellow lenses or something, can anyone verify?

I really just want all clear lenses and I'll deal with the bulbs.

-where can I find a spec sheet that will tell me all the LEDs that coincide with the bulbs in the headlight assembly?

Probably Google, but check out the stickies in the Lighting section, and do a search in that section as well. You might find more info that way.

Until then, here's a list of the bulb sizes. I'm sure if you add "LED" after the bulb size in a search, you'll find something.

Sorry for not answering your original question.

I've had good luck with the Depo brand. My tail lights are Depo, and they seem to be doing fairly well.

Depending on what are you trying to achieve. Like for instance will this be a budget build? Is this your first time building a retrofit. A lot of this come into play. I went with a budget build and bought eBay headlights for $90. Don't expect to much from these cheaply eBay/Amazon headlights. If I can do it again I would go with a better quality headlights like Depo or even a used Oem headlights.
